Passionate about folk music from the British Isles and North America, and its power in challenging times, we decided to form Folk for Funerals .

Having shared our experiences with each other of singing at our own loved one’s funerals, we recognised the importance of choosing a repertoire that felt human and personally relevant.

We want to work together with grieving families and friends to create the most fitting musical send off to honour their loved one.

Whether it be through bespoke arrangements or congregational song, we look forward to finding the best fit through listening to your stories and experiences.
